Gimme That Old Time Religion Open House
Okeechobee Primitive Baptist Church 1003 SW 3rd Avenue, Okeechobee, FloridaThe Okeechobee Historical Society hosts an open house for their new project Gimme That Old Time Religion on May 20 at the Okeechobee Primitive Baptist Church. The project features informational banners representing Okeechobee historical churches identitfed in a WPA project in the 1930s. Reverend Loy Mershimer, Dr. Michelle Carrigan, and members of the historical society will answer questions from the community about the project and Mayor Dowling Watford will present
