Executive Director’s Book Club: “Beneath a Ruthless Sun”

Virtual / Online

Join Florida Humanities' Executive Director Nashid Madyun and Flagler College history professor and Florida Humanities speaker Dr. J. Michael Butler for a discussion on Gilbert King's book Beneath a Ruthless Sun. The book is a true story that takes place in rural Florida. In the midst of integration, a prominent local woman is assaulted, which leads the local sheriff down a road of racism, violence, and injustice.
