Black History Month Event: “A Place for All People”

February 27, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

SURJ Flagler, together with the African-American Cultural Society (AACS), the Flagler Branch of the NAACP, and Seeking Insights for Solutions (SIS), (an interest group within the University Women of Flagler) invite you to participate in a Black History Month event: “A Place for All People”. A special viewing of the Smithsonian Exhibit “A Place for All People” will be followed by a SIS-produced video presentation exploring issues related to race. SIS members will facilitate a conversation with the audience following the viewing. University Women of Flagler members began the discussion group, Seeking Insights for Solutions, to explore, understand and find solutions for racial equity. You are most welcome to share your insights and experiences in the post-screening discussion. Registration is required. This program and the exhibition are funded in part through a Florida Humanities Community Project Grant in partnership with the African American Cultural Society Inc.
