Book + Art: A Mash-Up for Art & Book Lovers

Book + Art is a series that connects the public with reading and visual arts. For November the featured pairing is “The Age of Light,” by Whitney Scharer and WHO? A Brief History of Photography through Portraiture. The Age of Light tells the true story of model turned renowned photographer Lee Miller, and her search for a new identity as an artist after a life spent as a muse. Explore photography from the 19th to the 21st centuries following the book discussion. Attendees may visit their local library branch to check out a copy of the book.
