Florida Humanities is proud to partner with local community champions to bring you high-quality public programming through Community Project Grants, Florida Talks, Museum on Main Street, and more.

BookMania! 2024

March 2 @ 9:00 am - 3:45 pm

The Library Foundation of Martin County and The Martin County Library System host BookMania! at Jensen Beach High School on March 2. Emerging and prominent authors and writers participate in multiple panel discussions and signings across a variety of genres, including thriller and suspense, historical fiction, romantic fiction, and more. Since its inception in 1995, BookMania! has hosted over 450 emerging and best-selling authors, attracting participants from all over the United States.

All panels will be recorded and shared on Martin County Library System’s YouTube page after the festival. Titles by guest authors will be available from the library system’s regular, Martin’s Most Wanted, and downloadable collections. Attendees can visit the pop-up Barnes & Noble in the Jensen Beach High School Nutrition Center throughout the day to purchase titles for signing. Refreshments will be available to purchase from the Barnes & Noble Cafe in the courtyard throughout the day. Lunch is available from the Martin County Sheriff’s Grill Team for purchase.

9:15-10 AM: Sea Stories- Fact and Fiction Panel

10:30-11:45 AM: Thriller and Suspense Panel

11:45 AM-12:45 PM: Lunch Break

12:45- 1:45 PM: Love, Friendship, and Ever After’s Panel

2:15- 3:15 PM: Historical Fiction Panel
