The North Miami Memory Project: a Historical Exhibition and Program Series proudly presents a lecture by local historian and author, Seth Bramson. Mr. Bramson has written more than fifteen books on the history of various South Florida locales and residents, and is well-known for his lively lectures on local history. “Boulevard of Dreams” refers to Biscayne Boulevard which runs through the four communities in primarily northeast Miami-Dade County: El Portal, Miami Shores, Biscayne Park, and North Miami. He will elaborate on the history reflected by the Exhibit’s images and oral history snippets which primarily show North Miami’s unique experience during the post-World War II boom that characterized South Florida’s growth.
