Cultural Conversation: Next Steps for Jax

The Legacy of Lynching: Confronting Racial Terror Exhibition at MOSH, Jacksonville, FL. "The Legacy of Lynching: Confronting Racial Terror" Exhibition at MOSH, Jacksonville, FL.

Across the country, communities are coming together to raise awareness about racial terror lynchings and to have open conversations about reconciliation. Dr. Rudy Jamison and Dr. Christopher Janson of UNF, along with other members of the Jacksonville Community Remembrance Project, will share their collective experience about their trip to The Legacy Museum in Montgomery, Alabama. Guests will have the opportunity to join the conversation and be a part of Jacksonville’s next steps to eliminate racial injustice in our community today. This program is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to tour the Legacy of Lynching exhibit from 6 to 7 p.m. The program starts at 7 p.m. Spots are limited, please RSVP on Eventbrite.
