Decisions 2024: The Florida November Ballot and Amendments Informational Session

Join Leesburg Public Library and the League of Women Voters to learn about Florida’s constitutional amendments on the ballot in November and, an online voter guide with information about the ballot. The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan, non-profit organization whose mission is to provide an informed electorate. The presenter is Char Griffin, a retired systems analyst and college computer department chair. She helped create the first online Tri-County Voter Guide Char Griffin is also the League of Women Voters of Tri-County, webmaster, speaker, and trainer in the league’s speakers bureau.

Registration is suggested but not required to attend. Free parking is available in the public parking lot and garage adjacent to the library. This program is part of Voices and Votes: Democracy in America on view at the Leesburg Library November 16 through January 11, 2024. Voices and Votes: Democracy in America is part of Museum on Main Street , a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Florida Humanities. Support for the local exhibition and programming was provided through a grant from Florida Humanities with funds from the National Endowmenr for the Humanities.
