Destruction of Rosewood

Rosewood, Florida Massacre in 1923.

Dr. Vincent Adejumo presents a critical analysis of Rosewood, a predominantly black community destroyed in 1923 during a racially motivated attack. This program is a partnership between the Florida Humanities and the Friends of the Palm Beach County Public Library.

Funding for this program was provided by Florida Humanities and sponsored in part by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture.
