Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration of Equality

On Saturday, April 3, 2021, the Caribbean American Cultural Group, Inc. (CACG), with the support of Florida Humanities, Truist Bank, and the Law Firm of Cushnie & McMahon, will hold its eleventh Annual Memorial “Celebration of Equality” to honor the life and work of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
This “Celebration of Equality” will be held at the Sunlight Community Church, 477 SW Cashmere Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34986, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. (The event will also be live-streamed via YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram). A to-go boxed lunch will be served afterward in the fellowship hall. CDC guidelines regarding the prevention of Covid-19, particularly with respect to the wearing of masks and social distancing, will be strictly adhered to at all stages of the day’s event!
For our guest speaker this year, we have the pleasure of a return visit from the Rev. Dr. Ray Hammond, Founder & Senior Pastor of Bethel AME, Boston, MA. Rev. Hammond is both an ordained minister and a medical doctor.
