Echoes Of A Dream: The Historical & Spiritual Perspective of the Civil Rights Movement

Anniversary to Commemorate the Civil Rights Demonstrations (ACCORD) is hosting a third weekend of its Fall speakers series. This third event will be a special screening of the full feature documentary entitled, “Echoes Of A Dream: The Historical & Spiritual Perspective of The Civil Rights Movement.” Following the screening, there will be an open discussion with the film producer Motown Maurice on the impact of the civil rights movement on future generations.

Registrations is suggested, but not required. Participants are welcome to explore the ACCORD Museum to learn about St. Augustine’s Civil Rights history through guided and self-led tours, a trolley tour of 25 Civil Rights sites in St. Augustine (registration required), and to further engage with Mr. Maurice at a Meet & Greet the day following the lecture.

Saturday, December 3, 11 AM: Meet & Greet with Maurice, followed by a second film screening of “Echoes Of A Dream: The Historical & Spiritual Perspective of The Civil Rights Movement”

Saturday, December 3, 9 – 10:30 AM: Freedom Trail Trolley Tours
