English for Families Palm Springs Public Library

Palm Springs Public Library is hosting English for Families once a week for ten weeks from January 19 through March 23, 2023. The ten-week virtual program includes interactive classes for parents and children that focus on developing English vocabulary and literary skills through strategic and fun story reading. Programming is designed to improve the language proficiency of individuals whose native language is not English by providing essential reading strategies needed for success in the classroom and workforce. Registration is required to participate.
This English for Families program is a partnership between Florida Humanities and the Palm Springs Public Library. Funding for this program was provided by Florida Humanities and sponsored in part by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
