English for Families at Delray Beach Public Library
February 21 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The Delray Beach Public Library is hosting English for Families twice a week for five weeks from February 21 through March 30, 2023. The program includes interactive classes for adults and children that focus on developing English vocabulary and literary skills through strategic and fun story reading. Programming is designed to improve the language proficiency of individuals whose native language is not English by providing essential reading strategies needed for success in the classroom and workforce. Registration is required to participate as space is limited. Dinner is provided. Free parking is available behind the library. No classes will occur March 21 and March 23 for Spring Break.
This English for Families program is a partnership between Florida Humanities and the Delray Beach Public Library. Funding for this program was provided by Florida Humanities and sponsored in part by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
