November 2, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Hybrid Hybrid Event
Florida Keys, the Southern most point, Continental US

Cori Convertito investigates the development of the Florida Keys as a tourist destination. It walks through the islands’ history to answer questions such as Why did tourists visit and how did they get here? Where did they stay and what activities were available? And just who were these tourists? This program is a partnership between the Florida Humanities and the Marco Island Historical Society.

Funding for this program was provided by Florida Humanities and sponsored in part by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture.
