Hometown Team: Florida Sports History
October 24, 2020 @ 10:00 am

Dr. Steve Noll, UF, returns with the history of sports in Florida in the context of racial and gender issues, the influence of big business, and personal identities Floridians have with their local teams. It’s serious but it’s also fun! This is an online presentation – no need for any special equipment – easy to register at www.OrmondHistory.org. Not available at 10 a.m. on Oct. 24? No problem- just register anyway, and if you don’t view it at 10 am, you will be automatically sent an email later that day with a link to watch a replay of the presentation, which is good for 7 days.
