The Yiddish Shakespeares

HYAM PLUTZIK: AMERICAN POET is a captivating film that revives the work of this forgotten Jewish writer who still remains a mystery. Juxtaposing memory, interviews, literature, and home movies, this film leads viewers on a journey through the life and legacy of Plutzik’s modernist voice, which resounds powerfully today. Immediately following the screening, Avi Hoffman will be in discussion with Edward Moran, a historian and literary advisor to the Estate of Hyam Plutzik and the documentary film.
