Lunch and Learn Lecture Series: Florida Talks at the Reserve

November 5, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Hybrid Hybrid Event
Rookery Bay Research Reserve

The Lunch & Learn Lecture Series hosted at Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center invites guests to enjoy a meal in the comfort of the auditorium while learning something new from the Florida Humanities Speakers Bureau. Join us for Rookery Bay Research Reserve’s series of three monthly Lunch & Learn lectures in partnership with Florida Humanities. Each month the series will focus on a unique facet of Florida’s history and pop culture. The expert speaker will present from their office elsewhere in Florida, using Zoom technology and be projected onto the big screen in the Environmental Learning Center Auditorium. If you choose to join us in-person, lunch will be provided. You can also join from your device at your own location. Both methods will allow for interaction with the guest lecturer and questions from the audience are encouraged. Seating capacity is limited, so pre-registration is required. Full-service buffet staff will be wearing gloves and masks. This program is a partnership between the Florida Humanities and the Friends of Rookery Bay.

Funding for this program was provided by Florida Humanities and sponsored in part by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture.
