Miami Book Fair 2023

Miami Dade College presents the 40th annual Miami Book Fair November 12 through November 19. An eight-day celebration of, by, and for authors, books, and the people who love them. The Fair features more than 400 authors and presenters from across the country and globe; more than 200 in-person and on-demand programs delivered in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole and French; the signature “Evenings With” lineup, including Kerry Washington with Eva Longoria, Jada Pinkett Smith with Lena Waither, Joan Baez with Justin Richmond, David Brooks, Alberto Verghese with Leigh Haber, Walter Mosley with Tochi Onyebuchi, Cassidy Hutchinson, and Henry Winkler; and the teeming street fair weekend with dozens of author discussions and panels. At the street fair, attendees can find hands-on activities, kid-friendly music, and theatrical performances at Children’s Alley, live music at Off the Shelf stage, hundreds of booksellers and artisanal vendors, and food and drink by Smorgasbord Miami.
Free parking is available at the MDC Wolfson Campus Parking Garage from Sunday, November 12 through Sunday, November 19. The garage is located at 500 NE Second Avenue; the entrance is on NE Fifth Street between First and Second Avenues. Additional parking options are available through the Miami Parking Authority at Garage No. 3: College Station and Garage No. 4: Convention Center for a flat $5 fee. Both garages are open 24/7.
