Join Dalia Colón, author of “The Florida Vegetarian Cookbook,” award-winning journalist and host of The Zest podcast, for an exploration of Florida’s rich food culture through stories, flavors and traditions from across the state. Discover how local ingredients and diverse influences shape what we eat and leave inspired to see Florida’s cuisine in a whole new way. This event will feature a book sale and signing by the author following the presentation.

This event is part of Off the Page, a literary celebration hosted by Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources throughout the month of November. Events featuring bestselling authors, writing workshops, and more are occurring at ten library locations countywide. All Off the Page events are free, open to the public, and first-come, first-served.
