Off the Page: Mystery Night with Oceanview Publishing

November 8 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Selby Library hosts a panel discussion all about mysteries with Oceanview Publishing as part of the “Off the Page Literary Celebration.” Oceanview is an independent book publisher specializing in the best in mystery, thrillers, and suspense. Founding partners Bob and Pat Gussin are joined by authors Don Bruns, Susan Klaus, and Ward Larsen to discuss the exciting twists and turns of mystery.

Bob Gussin never let his Ph.D. and position as the Chief Science Officer of Johnson and Johnson stand in the way of his passion for fiction- specifically mysteries and thrillers and suspense. So as soon as he retired, he and his wife Patricia Gussin started Oceanview Publishing. Pat Gussin is a physician and medical researcher- turned fiction writer and editor and publisher. She is a USA Today and New York Times bestselling author.

USA Today bestselling author Don Bruns is a musician and songwriter, a painter, a cook, and advertising guru, a traveler, and a stand-up comic. He is the award-winning author of three mystery series, including The Music Series featuring Mick Sever. Susan Klaus, a native of Sarasota, has a long and extensive history of working with animals. She has managed and co-owned a horse farm, breeding and racing thoroughbreds for the past thirteen years. Klaus is the author of four sci-fi novels and is the host and co-producer of Author’s Connection radio show. Ward Larsen is an award-winning author whose debut novel “The Perfect Assassin” garnered numerous awards and accolades, including top honors in the Royal Palm Literary Awards and the Silver Medal in the Florida Book Awards.
