Join Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources for an engaging writers’ conference and local author fair at Selby Library in downtown Sarasota. The event features publishing industry experts, established authors and creative writing faculty.

Meet local authors, shop for books and connect with area writing groups. Learn insider tips, gain practical advice and connect with professionals who can help take your writing to the next level. For young writers ages 7-11, join Stan Tucker, founder of Leap for Literacy and host of “The Very Airy Library,” for a fun, interactive workshop where they will discover the power of their own voices and learn how they can become published authors too.

This event is part of Off the Page, a literary celebration hosted by Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources throughout the month of November. Events featuring bestselling authors, writing workshops, and more are occurring at ten library locations countywide. All Off the Page events are free, open to the public, and first-come, first-served.
