Program Description:

Join us at USF St. Petersburg’s Grand Ballroom as high school students from around the state channel some of history’s greatest poets and recite their work as they compete for the title of Florida’s Poetry Out Loud State Champion. These students have already won their local school’s contest and have dreams of making it to the national finals in Washington DC and the top prize of a $20,000 scholarship. Come cheer on their young scholars and enjoy some great poetry! This program is free and open to the public.
