Race and Change Across Cultures and Generations- New Narratives for Our Time

Join author, oral historian, media producer, and recording artist Dr. Kitty Oliver for a thought-provoking, entertaining evening of historical storytelling, research, and music looking at the complexities of race relations in the U.S. from a variety of cultural perspectives. This presentation will also feature a Race and Change Intergenerational Chat with special guest, community historian Emmanuel George, exploring what elders and younger people can teach and learn from each other as social justice activists today. This program is a partnership between Florida Humanities and the Hollywood Art and Culture Center, Inc.
