Program Description:

Racism is more than hurt feelings and ending it will take more than just love and polite conversation. Join the South Florida People of Color as they bring their Unity360 Community Race Dialogue to Miami Gardens. Participants will experience a powerful exploration of the history of racism in American society and an interactive examination of the continuing presence of systemic racism and bias. We will weigh strategies to disrupt and dismantle it, including the potential role of reparations. Using carefully facilitated dialogues and structured activities, this Unity360 Race Community Race Dialogue will deepen your understanding of the historical roots of our contemporary racial crisis and provide a courageous and healing path forward.
