Rotunda Rendezvous featuring Connecticut’s Old State House

May 13, 2021 @ 7:00 pm

Celebrate National Preservation Month with a very special Rotunda Rendezvous from the Florida Historic Capitol Museum in Tallahassee and Connecticut’s Old State House in Hartford! Gather with us virtually “under the dome” at these two sites of American democracy to hear our unique stories and common themes. After extensive preservation projects, both former Capitol buildings opened as museums that provide civic education experiences for all ages today. To participate in this special program, click “Going” on the Facebook event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/456553712083543) and you will be sent a reminder when we are ready to go live. This program reflects the content of the Smithsonian Museum on Main Street’s Voices and Votes: Democracy in America exhibit brought to you by Florida Humanities. We thank The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for their generous support of this initiative and the Pulitzer Prizes for their partnership.
