The movie is set in contemporary Havana and takes us directly to the US Interests Section in Havana, where after 54 years of US embargo, the Cubans can finally get a visa to travel legally to the United States. Using this theme as a background, the movie brings a story of faith through one of the most outstanding aspects of Cuban culture: Santeria and religious syncretism. Screening will be presented and followed by Q&A session led by Corinna Moebius, PhD Candidate at Florida International University and author of book “A history of little Havana”. Screening in Spanish with English subtitles. Discussion in English.
