Second Annual Bard and Broadside: Community Poetry

April 14 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Part of the Second Annual Bard and Broadside North Central Florida Poetry Festival, in partnership with the Alachua County Library District and ARTSPEAKS Inc, Dr. Natalie J. Graham hosts a Free Community Writing Workshop at the Alachua County Library District Headquarters. The Interactive Ekphratic Writing Workshop focuses on writing in response to photographs and visual arts. All ages welcome and no registration is required, but seating is first come first served. Following the workshop Dr. Graham hosts a poetry reading and book signing.

Dr. Natalie J. Graham is the award winning author of Begin with a Failed Body (2017) and a widely published scholar. She serves as Interim Associate Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at California State University at Fullerton. Dr. Graham is a native of Gainesville, FL. and earned her M.F.A. in Creative Writing at the University of Florida.

Funding is provided in part through a Florida Humanities Book Festival Grant with funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities and in partnership with ARTSPEAKS Inc.
