St. Johns Reads 2024: A Book Discussion with Sarah Adams

The Friends of the St. Johns County Public Library hosts a book discussion with author Sara Nisha Adams as part of St. Johns Reads 2024. Adams, author of the 2024 title The Reading List, visits the Anastasia Island Branch Library from across the pond! Audience members can listen to a discussion with Sara Nisha Adams and Library Manager Sarah Scholter who will chat about the meaning behind The Reading List, the relationship between the characters and the public library, and Adams’ inspiration and process to write the novel. Q&A follows discussion. Seating begins at 10 a.m., event begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. Registration is not required to attend.

St. Johns Reads is the St. Johns County Public Library System’s annual One Book, One Community event focused on creating a shared conversation on a selected novel. In its 20th year, St. Johns Reads 2024 features a variety of programs inspired by The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams, including special events with the author at each branch library from January 30 to February 2. The Reading List is available to enjoy from your library in print, digital audiobook, and e-book formats.
