St. Johns Reads 2024
January 3 @ 10:15 am - 4:00 pm
In its 20th year, St. Johns Reads is the St. Johns County Public Library System’s annual
One Book, One Community focused on creating a shared conversation on a selected novel. 2024’s pick is The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams. Sara Nisha Adams is a writer and editor. She lives in London and was born in Hertfordshire to Indian-Kenyan and English parents. Her debut novel The Reading List was a finalist in the Goodreads Choice Awards for Fiction 2021. The Reading List is an unforgettable and heartwarming debut about how a chance encounter with a list of library books helps forge an unlikely friendship between two very different people in a London suburb.
St. Johns Reads 2024 is a month-long celebration offering over thirty programs to residents and visitors, including six book discussions with Sara Nisha Adams. Programming spans many topics such as culinary arts, cinema, mental health, and craft-making! All programming are open to the public, free of charge, and will be in-person at each of the six Saint Johns County library branches. Some events are located offsite and require registration.
Visit the St. Johns Reads 2024 website for more details.
