St. Pete Reads! Lit Fest: Self Portrait Workshop with Anastasia Magloire Williams

St. Pete Reads! Lit Fest welcomes illustrator Anastasia Magloire Williams for a story time session and shares how images enhance and contribute to storytelling. As an illustrator known for the blend of graphics, illustration, and painting, she shares how visual style can complement the stories they are meant to tell. Following the reading, Anastasia guides participants in creating their own self-portraits. Participants explores character design techniques and visual storytelling to bring their stories to life. Anastasia Magloire Williams is an illustrator, writer, and graphic designer living in Florida. Raised on a healthy diet of books, animation, and games, Anastasia’s childhood and art education prepared for a lifetime of storytelling. Forever a student, she continues to grow in her preferred digital medium, combining traditional illustration techniques with the flexibility of computer software.
