Program Description:

Stonewall Uprising – 50 Years” will be presented at the Stonewall National Museum – Wilton Manors. The exhibition will examine the events around the country that led up to the events in June 1969 at the Stonewall Inn to understand why the Stonewall riots became the catalytic movement to secure equal rights for LGBT Americans. The exhibition will also explore the cultural and social events that have occurred over the past fifty years as that fight for equality has continued.
