Summer Reading 2023: Storytelling with Art

July 13 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

DeSoto County Library presents “Storytime and Art with Blakely Kaufmann,” a local author, to read We Are Better Together by Bill McKibben, pairing vibrant illustrations and simple poetic text to remind readers that beauty is all around them if they work together to discover it. A hands-on multi-generational activity will follow the storytime.

This Summer Reading 2023 program was sponsored in part by Florida Humanities with funds from the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Any views, findings, conclusions or recommendations expressed in this program do not necessarily represent those of Florida Humanities or the aforementioned entities.
