July 31, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm
The Morikami Museum presents “Kakejiku Poetry Scroll” at the Lighthouse Point Library. Children ages 7-11 and their caregivers can tap into their inner artist by designing their own hanging scroll called a Kakejiku and pair it with their own haiku. Registration required. Registration opens on June 12 for residents outside of Lighthouse Point. Carpooling is recommended as parking is limited.
This Summer Reading 2023 program was sponsored in part by Florida Humanities with funds from the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional support is provided by the Friends of Lighthouse Point Library.
