Summer Reading 2023: Kids Read Aloud Book Club
June 9 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Gulfport Public Library hosts a weekly book club for kids every Friday at 3 pm. Participants take turns reading aloud from the chosen titles and get to bring the book home with them at the end of the session (quantities limited). All participants should have a second grade reading level or higher. Titles — chosen from the Collaborative Summer Reading Program 2023 recommended reading list — for the meetings are below:
June 9: Jo Jo Makoons: The Used-to-Be Best Friend by Dawn Quigley
June 16: Fox and Chick: Up and Down and Other Stories by Sergio Ruzzier
June 23: Gooney Bird Greene by Lowis Lowry
June 30: Too Small Tola by Atinuke
July 7: Newton and Curie: The Science Squirrels by Daniel Kirk
July 14: Cam Jansen by David A Adler
July 21: Sona Sharma, Very Best Big Sister? by Chitra Soundar
