Summer Reading Program 2023: “All Together Now” Family Literacy Night Fourth Session

August 3 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Summer Reading 2023: Kids Read Aloud Book Club

The Dania Beach Paul DeMaio Library is hosting “All Together Now” Family Literacy Nights, a four-week series from Thursday, July 13 through August 3. Sessions include an interactive reading experience and skills lesson followed by a hands-on activity for children ages 2-8 and their caregivers and siblings. Caregivers will learn ways to use new vocabulary and text in discussions to increase reading comprehension and develop a love of reading through shared activities.

Families are highly encouraged to attend all four sessions. Families will receive the week’s featured book(s) and be entered into a raffle to win family games and activities. Registration is required for each session and food is provided by the Friends of the Dania Beach Paul DeMaio Library. The library is accessible by county bus routes 1, 4, and 16 as well as the Dania Beach Community Shuttle. Free parking is available in the Dania Beach City Hall parking deck.

This Summer Reading 2023 program was sponsored in part by Florida Humanities with funds from the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Any views, findings, conclusions or recommendations expressed in this program do not necessarily represent those of Florida Humanities or the aforementioned entities.
