The Sound of the Sea: Author Talk with Cynthia Barnett

Join us for an author talk and book signing with acclaimed environmental author, Cynthia Barnett. She will discuss her new book, The Sound of the Sea: Seashells and the Fate of the Oceans, a compelling history of seashells and the animals that make them, revealing what they have to tell us about nature, our changing oceans, and ourselves. This award-winning author teaches environmental journalism at the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications. Her books will be available for purchase and signing after the talk. Registration is required. Attend in-person or virtually. This program is a partnership between Florida Humanities and the Boca Raton Public Library.
