Welcome Reception for the Florida Humanities Festival: South Florida

Join Florida Humanities to kick off the inaugural Florida Humanities Festival: South Florida. The celebration is being hosted at the Historic Hampton House. Mix and mingle with Florida Humanities staff and board members, festival panelists, and other humanities supporters.

The festival will continue on March 9 at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex with a full day of activities. Attendees will explore the literature, cultures, music, cuisine, and history that shape the human experience of South Florida through community discussions, art tours, a film screening, networking opportunities, and of course, food, fun, and festivities.

This program is organized by Florida Humanities, with partial support is provided from the Office of the Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Florida International University, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
