Program Description:

Join WGCU as we kick off PBS’s Summer of Space with a premiere screening of Chasing the Moon and discussion with Joel Banow. An award-winning television director/producer, Mr. Banow directed the coverage of the moon landing with a team of journalists from across the country. As a part of the special events unit at CBS News, he worked 32 hours straight and directed shots viewed by the national CBS audience as Walter Cronkite’s voice walked them through the Apollo’s every move.
