Join us at the Lake Wales Museum as we host Cynthia Barnett, an award-winning environmental journalist who has reported on water and climate change around the world, as she presents “Blue Revolution: A Water Ethic for Florida.” Barnett shows audiences how one of the most water-rich states in the nation could come to face water scarcity and quality woes – and how it doesn’t have to be this way.

We are very excited to partner with Visit Central Florida, the Florida Humanities Council, and the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs to offer this program.

Join us for Florida at War a program that captures the life and times of Florida after the Civil War ended and during WW2. Ms. Steinshouer acts the role of two famous northern authors that lived in Florida during these two historical periods. Program depicts the clash of cultures , gender, and the two wars impact on Florida residents.
