Community Project Grants

This funding opportunity aims to increase public participation in — and access to — the humanities by providing relevant, engaging, and meaningful humanities-based programming to all. Applicants may request up to $10,000.

Broadcasting Hope Grants

Florida Humanities’ Broadcasting Hope Media Grant provides funding to Florida public media stations, nonprofits, cultural organizations, and public institutions to support media projects rooted in the humanities. Request up to $50,000.

Men of Change Smithsonian Exhibit

In partnership with the Smithsonian Institution, Florida Humanities invites proposals from qualifying institutions to host Men of Change: Power. Triumph. Truth. in 2023. This immersive exhibit profiles significant African American men whose journeys have altered the history and culture of our country.
