Sharon Koskoff is chair of the Public Art Advisory Board of Delray Beach. She has painted over 300 murals in Palm Beach County Public Schools. Sharon’s mural passion will teach about historical 20th Century WPA Post Office artists as Charles Rosen/ Palm Beach, Joseph D. Myers/ Lake Worth and James Edward Hamilton/ WPB Barefoot Mailman; the Everglades Murals at the Clewiston Inn by J. Clinton Shepherd and the Flagler Museum Gilded Age murals. Bernard Thomas painted a 65’ epic mural at the Scottish Rite Center of King Solomon’s Temple. Learn from the past up to the recent graffiti murals including eight Community Mural Projects by Koskoff sponsored by the Cultural Council of PBC.

Mural Artist and designer Sharon Koskoff was born in Brooklyn New York and has lived in Delray Beach Florida since 1985. She graduated Brooklyn College as a Fine Arts Major and New York School of Interior Design where she mastered Color Theory.  As a preservationist, she founded the Art Deco Society of the Palm Beaches (ADSPB) in 1987 and authored Art Deco of the Palm Beaches, Arcadia Publications in 2007. Presently  Koskoff is the chairperson for the Public Art Advisory Board of Delray Beach, an Art Instructor at the School of Creative Arts and the Group Tour leader at the Society of Four Arts in Palm Beach.  This year, Koskoff was  the winner of the Ellen Liman Award of Excellence in Education by the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County held at the 2014 Muse Awards. She is known as a Community Mural Artist and responsible for hundreds of murals throughout the county in public places as schools, airports, and museums etc. Koskoff is an enthusiastic speaker and well known authority on Art, Architecture and our Creative Culture!
