Your membership supports our mission: To preserve, promote and share the history, literature, culture and personal stories that offer Floridians a better understanding of themselves, their communities and their state. We work to deliver hundreds of enriching humanities-based programs and resources across The Sunshine State, and as a Florida Humanities member, you are investing in experiences that expand knowledge, inspire conversations, broaden perspectives and foster civic engagement.

As part of our 50th anniversary year, we published Once Upon a Time in Florida: Stories of Life in the Land of Promises (October 2023), which members can enjoy a 30 percent discount to purchase or a complimentary copy based on the membership level. The 300-page plus anthology, edited by Jacki Levine, features 50 stories and 150 images curated from the archives of our award-winning FORUM magazine. Explore the membership levels and benefits below to find the one that’s right for you.

Thank you for helping Florida Humanities strengthen our work and uplift cultural organizations throughout the state!
