FORUM, the magazine of Florida Humanities, won 21 awards at the 2024 Florida Magazine Association Charlie Awards Gala on July 26 in Orlando. The magazine received 10 first-place “Charlie” awards, six silver and five bronze — including Charlies for Best Overall Writing, Best In-Depth Reporting and Best Overall Design. FORUM also swept the Best Writing: Feature and Best Special Theme or Show Issue categories, placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!
The awards recognized outstanding writing, design and photography achievements by Florida magazines in 2023. Congratulations to the entire FORUM team and all the contributors who provided their talents to the three 2023-2024 issues, which focused on everything from Florida’s breathtaking environment to the state’s sports heroes and history.
