Conch Revival Picnic

March 18 @ 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Key West Art & Historical Society, Great Events Catering, and Unity Table at Williams Hall are proud to present the 10th annual Conch Revival Picnic—a beloved heritage dinner honoring the island’s rich culinary traditions. This year’s picnic-style feast will be crafted by renowned chefs Martha Hubbard and Dave Fuhrman, offering a flavorful tribute to Key West’s Bahamian and Cuban roots through historic recipes, lively music, and a warm community spirit.

Originally inspired by the late Dianne Zolotow, a dedicated board member of The Society, the Conch Revival Picnic was created to preserve and showcase the traditional dishes passed down through generations of Conch families. Many featured recipes are drawn from the postwar Key West Woman’s Club Cookbook and other rare publications in the Society’s archives-recipes that are fast fading from local memory and dinner tables. Come hungry, come curious, and help keep the flavors of Key West alive. Registration and a $100 admission fee are required.

This event celebrates the opening of “FOOD: Celebrating Conch Cuisine,” a new exhibition organized by the Key West Art & Historical Society that immerses visitors in the rich culinary heritage of the Florida Keys. The exhibit will be on display from February 27, 2026, to January 3, 2027, and is free with museum admission.

“FOOD: Celebrating Conch Cuisine” is one of seven exhibitions statewide that explore the people, lands and histories that come together to tell the stories of Florida’s shared food experience. Sponsored by Florida Humanities with funding from the Jacarlene Foundation, this interactive exhibition is presented by the Key West Art & Historical Society in collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum on Main Street program.
